Marina Hramina

Marina Hramina from 1983 to 1988, became increasingly complete. A new main building was constructed, complete with restaurant, sanitary facilities, duty free shops and other services. The charter fleet became the largest in the Adriatic, with over 120 charter boats in the company "SAS" Zadar, and with the boats in "Adriatic Yacht Center", the charter fleet totalled over 160. The regatta "Murter Kornati Cup", held in April every year, became a tradition, attracting a great number of competitors.

In 1988, OOUR MARINA HRAMINA was reorganized and incorporated as MARINA HRAMINA Murter. According to the assessments of tourist surveys in terms of service, content, position and beauty, the marina took a high-ranking second place of all marinas on the Adriatic Sea.

In 1989, Marina HRAMINA was registered as Marina Hramina, company for nautical tourism, located at Murter, Put Gradine bb. In terms of the number of transit sail-ins and the number of contracts signed, business reached its culmination. A new 50-ton travel-lift was installed, and plans were made to expand the marina's capacities and services. The number of vessels in transit reached 7,000 during the sailing season, while 320 boat owners entrusted their vessels to the marina throughout the year, bringing the total number of boats up to 480 (including the 160 charter vessels).

From 1990-1996, due to the war situation, the marina, together with the majority of marinas and tourism facilities from Zadar south, experienced a stagnation, which has just begun its recovery in the last two years. However, we must emphasize that even when shells were dropped in the direct vicinity just to the north (Biograd, Zadar) and to the south (Vodice, Šibenik), Marina Hramina had its loyal guests and, even in the most difficult war days, over 170 boats were entrusted to the marine for an annual berth and maintenance.
